Cannot WAIT to see her read Gia Gunn to filth.
YOU SAY THIS IS AVANT GARDE. I DO NOT THINK IT MEANS WHAT YOU THINK IT MEANS.
Reblogging because she’s damn right!
Interesting that the Steampunk challenge produced the highest number of good looks we’ve seen so far.
Also: NICHOLAS IS GONE! DANCE, DANCE WHEREVER YOU MAY BE FOR HE OF BORING CLOTHES HAS BEEN SENT AWAY IN INFAMY!
Anya went a bit too far when she asked him if he’d actually made the work in his portfolio, but I can understand why since his reaction to everything she said to him was so muted. I hope he had someone waiting to give him a hug when he got out because he seemed actually depressed and I don’t think the way she talked to him helped at all.
The wait is finally, finally over.
Like many others, I’d already seen the preview of the first episode which gave us this episode right up up to the LSFYL, so I was most interested in that lipsynch, Untucked and the first ten minutes of episode 2.
Spoilers for those who have not yet watched after the jump.
GO HOME NICHOLAS. YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN THIS COMPETITION. also, mondo has always underestimated asha from the very beginning. yay for next week - i love steampunk!! :D
Yes! I think Asha and MIchelle will both bring it. Oscar, Sam and Shan might come up with interesting looks too. The rest of them…well, there’s the possibility for some glorious disasters (also Oscar, if he forgets how to edit).
isabelle 100% deserved that. nick wasn’t betraying isabelle, he was just stating a fact. isabelle actually said they didn’t work well together first. and excuse you anya, like you can really talk about throwing one of your designers under the bus.
Yep, I honestly don’t think Isabelle would work well with anyone as a mentor. She’s so convinced of her own talent she’s not capable of stepping back and taking advice. A bit of the Dunning-Kruger effect there, methinks.
As for Anya, she can start talking smack about the others when her team actually wins a challenge. Brady would have been a serious contender in this challenge, NIcholas’ look was too old for Zendaya tbh.
Yesterday, Lauren Beukes posted a link to a very interesting article at The Atlantic about writers and a tendency towards procrastination.
Having worked in a team of writers, I can attest to the truth of the genus scrivenus tending to seek any possible…
I should start off by saying I have zero clue who Zendaya is, and this meant that I approached this episode with a bit of trepidation. I know nothing about Disney startlets, but she seems to have one heck of a portfolio for a 17-year-old. She asked for something to wear onstage, glamorous with a tomboy edge.
you nailed it. anya made the wrong decision in sending brady home when she was the one that gave him such terrible advice. i don’t know what she was thinking, but nicholas has zero potential. he’s so boring and bad at construction. ugh.
Yeah, and it won’t do poor Brady any good when that becomes clearer to the judges. I feel bad for the guy, and disappointed in Anya.
